The award was received in recognition of the soon-to-be-launched Co-op Members’ Wine Pioneer Pinot Grigio. This project saw the retailer work in partnership with Lanchester Wines to challenge the traditional approach to ranging. Pioneering innovation in product development, over 3,000 Co-op members were involved in the creation of the wine. Members selected everything from the grape variety, name, tasting notes and even the label design.
