Ballancin Conegliano Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG

Tasting Notes

This elegant Prosecco Superiore DOCG showcases the finesse of Conegliano Valdobbiadene. Delicate aromas of white blossom, ripe pear and green apple lead into a lively palate with fine, persistent bubbles. Crisp citrus notes balance hints of peach and almond, while a refreshing acidity carries through to a clean, mineral-driven finish. A refined expression of northern Italy’s premium Prosecco terroir.

Additional Info

Vini Ballancin was established in the 1960s when Lino Ballancin came home from a long stint of hard work in Switzerland and purchased some land from the Brandolini Counts. He had the foresight to cultivate vineyards, and now the winery is run by his sons Sergio and Antonio who have worked in the vineyards since childhood. Now, after studying at the Conegliano Oenological School and gaining experience through many years of hard work, the sons are proud to belong to this land of universally renowned wine and bubbly. Lino Vallancin was awarded the title of Cavaliere della Repubblica (the equivalent of a British knighthood) in 2012.

Food Matching

Wonderful as an important aperitif and as a celebration toast. It matches perfectly with fish appetisers, crustaceans and with both seafood and vegetables risottos.
