London Cru Blanc de Blancs
Tasting Notes
A very well balanced classical English Sparkling wine that will pair well with any occasion. Very fine bubbles, pleasant balance of freshness with fruit, vibrant and classy. The palate leads to greener apple and candied lemon peel. On the nose, clean, lively and fruit forward with cooked pear, red apple and a touch of caramel. |
Additional Info
The grapes for this Traditional Method wine were hand harvested, transported to London, and gently whole bunch pressed. Primary fermentation was completed in temperature-controlled stainless tanks and neutral French oak barrels, full malolactic fermentation was conducted, and then the wine was aged on lees for 6 months. Bottled by gravity for secondary fermentation in London Cru's Fulham winery, the wine had extended lees bottle ageing for close to three years. Disgorged and dosed in Jan 2023 |
