Tasting Notes

Prominent red fruits and dark cherry on the nose. Intensely flavoured on the palate with soft, approachable tannins and a spicy savoury finish.

Additional Info

Cold soak pre ferment for 5-7 days. Fermented at 28-30 degrees celsius and pressed off within a week of completing fermentation. MLF in barrel. Aged in French oak barriques, 20% of which were new.

Food Matching

Great with savoury tomato or mushroom flavoured pasta dishes, salmon or red meats.
