Scuola Grande Amarone D.O.C.G.
della Valpolicella
|
Tasting Notes
|
This wine is powerful, rich and smooth with bitter cherry and sweet plummy fruit on the palate - backed by notes of bitter chocolate. Rich and warming yet fresh and well balanced, with supple tannins and a rich texture. Cherry, plum and black cherries on the nose with a hint of toasted almonds. A deep, dark, intense colour with pleasant slight granite shades.
Bouquet is a sequence of perceptions of cherry, plum, and black cherries
under liquor and toasted almond; interesting final notes of
coffee, tobacco and cocoa. |
