Teroldego Rotaliano
Tasting Notes
| The 'prince' of Trentino wines. This is a full bodied wine, full and warm but with a round softness. The bouquet is intensely fruity with blackberry and blueberry. In the glass this is a deep, ruby red. Malolactic fermentation with skin contact, aging first in stainless steel tanks then in the bottle for a few months. |
Additional Info
| The red Teroldego grape is an indigenous variety of Trentino where its cultivation has been recorded since the Middle Ages. The grape is an ancestor to both Marzemino and Lagrein and a third degree relation to Pinot Noir and Syrah.
Piana Rotaliana is considered the homeland of Teroldego. |
