Has the great British summer always been this sweltering? Not that we’re complaining, my tan’s coming along nicely, but the humidity can sometimes leave one feeling sluggish and parched, possibly in need of crisp refreshment. Answering this call is the medium dry rose, the summer alternative to a dry white. Varying wildly from the palest blush to a dark rose colour, this is an under-appreciated style. There’s also more to crisp rose than a Provence or Italian Pinot Grigio, particularly from New World producers.

Keep your eyes peeled and your at the ready this month for some crisp, refreshing pinks hand picked from our collection, perfect for long summer days and an afternoon tea ice bucket!
