Ten Pound Poms

From Currency Creek south of Adelaide, Ten Pound Poms, graced by the lovely Vera, is a colourful addition to our offering, taking inspiration from post-war migration into Australia.

The Assisted Passage Migration Scheme started in 1945, aiming to significantly increase the Australian population to fire growing industry. Passengers were charged only £10 fare, subsidised by the Government, in return for housing, employment and better quality of life.

75ml Glass

Cabernet Sauvignon

Rich and vibrant characters, exuding complexity with nuances of caramel, leather, cooked plum & spicy vanilla. The oak profile delicately compliments the ripe dark cherry and soaked raisin fruit. A wine to be savoured and enjoyed.
