Supply Chain Co-Ordinator
Working with the Director of Purchasing, your key area of focus will be to monitor stock levels against the rate of sale and replenish accordingly. Your primary responsibility is to manage inventory, manage supply sources, and purchase materials and services to support production and anticipated demand. A good understanding of stock management and Purchase Order management is key.
You will liaise with global suppliers, including wineries and shipping companies, and Lanchester Wines’ trade customers so you must be confident with good communications skills, and be able to develop a cross-team working rapport.
You will create purchase orders for current and forecasted demand, and follow-up with vendors to ensure purchase orders have the correct price, freight charge, and delivery date
In addition to the job description, the key focus areas include: Stock management, Purchase orders, Tracking goods in transit from suppliers, Progress reports for Management
Key Person Attributes: Procedure driven, Accuracy, Confidence, Good communication skills, Experienced enough to start the role with ease, Efficiency, A can-do attitude, Good cultural fit.
Salary disclosed upon application.
This role will be based at Lanchester Wines’ HQ in County Durham, DH9 7XP working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
