Tasting Notes
A deep ruby in the glass and showcases bright aromatics of cherry preserves, fresh strawberry, sweet vanilla, and dried herb notes. The juicy palate hosts flavours of sweet red raspberry, fresh plum, cranberries and toasted caramel notes. Additional notes of dried cherry and pomegranate add complexity to the flavour profile. The wine is silky with smooth tannins, good acidity and a long, flavourful finish.
The majority of the fruit for this wine come from the sun-drenched California regions of Lodi and Clarksburg. Several Pinot Noir clones are used.
10 months in 30% new oak.
