Bold aromas of blackberry, red plum, baking spice character and warm mocha. The nose leads to a juicy palate with layers of ripe fruit flavours of blackberry and boysenberry. Notes of allspice and sweet oak add depth and richness. This well-structured wine presents bright fruit, rich texture on the palate with smooth, fine tannins and good overall acidity, leaving a lasting finish.
Majority of grapes are from Lodi with additional fruit from several growers throughout Clarksburg, California to enhance the overall taste profile .
